Security Engineer (Cloud Security)

Location: Paris, Lyon, or Cracow. Hybrid work in France: 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.

What you will do

• Engineer, monitor, and optimize the security detection stack using GuardDuty, Sysdig, WAF telemetry, and related security tooling.
• Triage and investigate security events through log analysis and direct interaction with Kubernetes clusters using kubectl and gcloud.
• Maintain automated DAST, SAST, and SCA processes, coordinate incident response, and track vulnerability remediation within SLAs.
• Collaborate with developers on secure coding, API security, GitHub Advanced Security findings, and secure software development practices.
• Support penetration testing, risk assessments, AI and LLM security practices, security awareness training, and internal knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in application or cloud security.
• Experience analyzing WAF traffic and cloud telemetry, identifying attack patterns, reducing false positives, and tuning detection tools.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, containers, and security best-practice remediation.
• Strong understanding of application and API security, including OWASP Top 10 and OWASP API Top 10.
• Practical source-code analysis skills and the ability to read and understand Python and/or Java.
• Experience integrating SAST, DAST, and SCA tools into CI/CD pipelines, plus knowledge of encryption, data security, TCP/IP, DNS, WAFs, and IDS.
