Infrastructure Security Engineer (Cloud/Kubernetes)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; office-first hybrid work with on-site attendance several days per week (80%)

What you will do

• Drive security strategy for cloud environments and integrate security into infrastructure architecture.
• Monitor security alerts, respond to incidents, and investigate infrastructure root causes.
• Identify, assess, prioritize, and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities while maintaining the infrastructure risk register.
• Implement hardening strategies across infrastructure and improve resilience against cyberattacks.
• Develop and manage CNAPP, CSPM, vulnerability scanning, and other infrastructure security tooling, including automated compliance controls.
• Secure CI/CD infrastructure and runners while collaborating with Infra, IT, DX, and SRE teams on security automation and policies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure security or security engineering in cloud environments.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and containerization, including Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with EDR, CNAPP, DLP, SIEM, and vulnerability management solutions.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure and cloud threat actor tactics, network security, Linux/Unix hardening, and IAM.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting and automation, with experience applying AI to streamline SOC operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
