TL;DR
HR Business Partner (French Speaker) (Employee Relations/Employment Law): Advising leaders and managing complex employee relations, organizational change, consultation processes, and workforce risks across the UK and France with an accent on local employment law, employee representative bodies, and risk-based decision-making. Focus on leading investigations, grievances, disciplinary processes, dismissals, restructures, and consultations while influencing senior stakeholders and mitigating legal and organizational risks.
Location: London, United Kingdom. The role supports employee populations in the United Kingdom and France. A valid work permit or visa is required for the country where the candidate will be located and working from, and the candidate must be able to obtain United Kingdom Security Clearance.

What you will do
- Advise managers and senior leaders on complex employee relations matters, workforce risks, and business-sensitive people decisions.
- Lead investigations, grievances, performance improvement plans, disciplinary processes, dismissals, restructures, and consultation activities.
- Provide local expertise on UK and French employment law, employee relations practices, consultation obligations, and market developments.
- Lead consultations with French Works Councils, UK Employee Forums, unions, employee representatives, and other stakeholders.
- Support organizational change, workforce initiatives, talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership calibration.
- Coach leaders and mentor less experienced Solutions Partners while representing People, Brand & Culture in leadership forums.
Requirements
- Substantial HR Business Partnering and Employee Relations experience supporting employee populations in both the United Kingdom and France.
- Strong working knowledge of UK and French employment law, employee relations practices, and consultation requirements.
- Experience leading complex investigations, grievances, disciplinary matters, dismissals, organizational changes, and consultation processes.
- Experience working with French Works Councils (CSE), UK Employee Forums, unions, and other employee representative bodies.
- Professional fluency in English and French, written and spoken.
- Valid work permit or visa for the country of residence and work, and ability to obtain United Kingdom Security Clearance.
Nice to have
- Experience advising leaders through workforce planning and restructuring in complex regulatory environments.
- Experience mentoring HR professionals and working in a shared services HR model.
- Experience supporting global or multinational organizations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with the SATCOM industry.
