Senior Commercial Finance Analyst

What you will do

• Support European sales and operations teams with risk and opportunity analysis, contract negotiations, business cases, and commercial initiatives.
• Provide financial analysis to guide revenue, profitability, efficiency, and strategic business decisions.
• Own forecast assumptions and review monthly revenue actuals against forecasts and prior-year results with the Accounting team.
• Build, validate, and analyze unit-based demand forecasts and financial forecasts, communicating regional risks and opportunities to Core FP&A.
• Build scalable financial models for performance tracking, business-case evaluation, strategic decisions, and forecast accuracy.
• Improve finance processes through simplification, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, revenue accounting, operations, consulting, or a related field at a global public company operating in consumer products or retail.
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles.
• Experience partnering with commercial and demand planning teams, including revenue forecasting, reporting, financial planning, retail partner margin agreements, and budget management.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets financial modeling and analysis skills.
• Proven ability to influence non-finance stakeholders and translate complex data into actionable business insights.

Nice to have

• Experience in FP&A for an omnichannel business selling physical products.
• Experience with Anaplan, SAP S/4HANA, Analytics for Office, Tableau, SQL, or AI productivity tools.
• Executive-level presentation skills and experience driving cross-functional strategic decisions.
• Strong attention to detail, adaptability, prioritization, and continuous-improvement mindset.
