Associate Director, Strategic Finance (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead long-range planning, annual budgeting, and forecasting across business units.
• Develop company-level financial insights and executive narratives for board meetings, investor communications, and decision-making.
• Lead capital strategy and allocation decisions.
• Partner with Product, GTM, and Operations leaders on market entry, product investment, pricing, and partnership initiatives.
• Oversee performance analysis, identify risks and opportunities, and improve accountability against targets.
• Build the Strategic Finance team, lead cross-functional initiatives, and enhance reporting systems, tools, and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in strategic finance, management consulting, investment banking, or private equity.
• Senior-level experience influencing executives and leading company-wide initiatives.
• Advanced financial modeling, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and commercial acumen.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including presentations to senior leaders or boards.
• Leadership experience mentoring team members and leading cross-functional workstreams.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-growth technology environments.
• Background in top-tier management consulting, investment banking, or private equity.
• Experience with capital markets, fundraising, or IPO readiness.
• Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, business intelligence tools, or large complex datasets.
