Location: US - Massachusetts; on-site office, plant, or lab work required
Annual base salary: $118,700β$178,025, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and enhance electro-mechanical systems, mechatronic devices, and automated control software.
- Develop, install, and improve PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, motors, and control systems for high-speed assembly, packaging, and process equipment.
- Lead equipment installation and start-up, field retrofits, upgrades, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop computer vision systems and algorithms for real-time object recognition, tracking, camera calibration, 3D reconstruction, and image-quality validation.
- Configure cameras, frame grabbers, illumination, motion-control interfaces, robotics, and related imaging programs.
- Perform data analysis, predictive modeling, automated reporting, and technical support for analytics and Six Sigma projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or 5+ years of hands-on experience with complex assembly and manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation, Keyence or Cognex vision software, and ABB Robotics.
- Strong programming knowledge of RSLogix5000 and FTView ME/SE, plus knowledge of VFDs, servo drives, robotics, and motion control.
- Experience designing high-volume, high-speed, high-precision manufacturing equipment and industrial control systems.
- Intermediate or advanced SQL skills, including manipulation and merging of large datasets in databases.
- Strong troubleshooting, statistical analysis, project management, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with B&R controls software and hardware.
- Knowledge of computer vision, image classification, object detection, segmentation, anomaly detection, and machine learning techniques.
- Familiarity with Visual Basic, Spotfire, PowerBI, Tableau, and other analytical software tools.
