Logistics Technician, Staff

Location: Middleburg Heights, Ohio, United States; onsite

Salary: $19.09–$25.43 per hour

What you will do

• Execute and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including routing delivered loads and inbound back-hauls.
• Create export documentation for international orders and coordinate common carrier activities.
• Document material movements and logistics records in the inventory management system, manage load utilization, and coordinate material distribution points.
• Maintain customer databases, profiles, and delivery time windows.
• Identify logistics workflow and cost-saving improvements and participate in Lean or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, engineering, and quality to support on-time material availability and report shortages or delays affecting production schedules.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
• Working knowledge of import/export compliance.
• Proficiency with ERP and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and organize work to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
