Graduate Engineer (Nuclear)

Location: Frederick, Maryland, United States; onsite. Travel to power plant sites for data collection, project meetings, and final system acceptance is required for approximately 2–4 weeks per year.

Salary: $67,000–$72,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop, test, debug, and deliver power plant training simulations that match real-world data.
• Convert technical data into simulation models for assigned systems.
• Support simulation product delivery, including logic and controls, operator interfaces, and related disciplines.
• Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and test procedures.
• Interact with power plant operators during product testing.
• Travel with project teams for site data collection, meetings, and final system acceptance.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of professional experience.
• Degree in mechanical, nuclear, or chemical engineering.
• Strong willingness to learn multiple engineering disciplines and participate in all aspects of engineering design.
• Ability to travel approximately 2–4 weeks per year.
• Ability to work onsite in Frederick, Maryland.
• The position may involve exposure to export-controlled information and additional security screening.
