TL;DR
Development & Community Engagement Coordinator (Nonprofit): Coordinating volunteer engagement, Provincial Advisory Board activities, community fundraising reporting, and Atlantic stewardship events with an accent on CRM accuracy, operational planning, and cross-functional execution. Focus on standardizing volunteer workflows, consolidating performance metrics, coordinating donor-facing materials, and managing event logistics for activities across Canada.

Location: Remote virtual work environment with a flexible hybrid working model. Candidates must currently reside in Canada, be legally entitled to work in Canada, and be able to travel when requested, including to events outside standard business hours.

Salary: CAD 60,000–66,500 per year.

What you will do

  • Coordinate Provincial Advisory Board activities, including meeting materials, agendas, logistics, action tracking, and quarterly reporting.
  • Maintain CRM, fundraising platform, revenue records, prospect lists, pipeline trackers, and constituent reporting tools.
  • Support community fundraising programs and Atlantic cultivation and stewardship events through logistics, guest management, outreach, and follow-up.
  • Coordinate national volunteer engagement initiatives, tracking, reporting, documentation, and standardized support processes.
  • Lead National Volunteer Week from theme development through recognition planning and implementation.
  • Connect Development, Operations, Communications, Governance, and Executive Assistants while improving workflows, templates, and documentation.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in business administration, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in coordination, administration, operational support, nonprofit work, fundraising, or volunteer engagement.
  • Experience with CRM systems and reporting or tracking tools.
  • Strong project coordination, organizational, written communication, editing, data tracking, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple timelines and stakeholders, improve and document processes, and collaborate without formal authority.
  • Current residence in Canada, legal entitlement to work in Canada, and availability for requested travel are required.
