Service Designer (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Design and evolve the end-to-end onboarding service for institutional retirement clients.
• Connect client needs with internal journeys, processes, operations, products, and technology.
• Map service journeys, touchpoints, dependencies, and friction points.
• Conduct customer research and test services and propositions.
• Define service measures and use evidence to prioritise improvements.
• Create service blueprints, wireframes, and prototypes while partnering with product managers and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing complex end-to-end services.
• Strong knowledge of service-design and design-thinking methods.
• Experience connecting customer journeys with operational and technical delivery.
• Experience working effectively in a large or complex organisation.
• Strong stakeholder-management, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Experience using insight, research, and testing to inform decisions.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with accessibility standards and tools such as Figma or equivalent.
• Pensions or insurance experience is not required.
