Location: United States, remote. Flexible working with hybrid arrangements and core working hours may vary depending on where you are based. International travel and out-of-hours events may be required.
Salary: $130,000–$140,000 yearly, plus a performance-based discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do
- Monitor and analyse legal, regulatory and policy developments across the United States, Europe and Latin America.
- Identify regulatory trends, commercial opportunities and strategic risks affecting products, customers and partners.
- Research and draft consultation responses, policy papers, position statements, customer briefings and thought leadership.
- Engage with governments, regulators, elected representatives, trade associations, standards bodies, civil society and industry coalitions.
- Translate regulatory developments into practical guidance for Product, Commercial, Compliance and Marketing teams.
- Represent at conferences, customer meetings, working groups and policy forums, and support stakeholder roundtables and workshops.
Requirements
- Law degree.
- 5–8 years of post-graduation experience in legal, regulatory, public policy, strategic advisory or government affairs roles.
- Strong legal analysis skills, including the ability to interpret legislation, regulatory guidance, consultation documents and technical standards.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; excellent spoken and written English is required.
- Commercial awareness, strong analytical judgement and the ability to manage multiple priorities across jurisdictions and time zones.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders across legal, data protection, commercial, technical and policy functions.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in technology policy, public policy, international relations, digital regulation or a related discipline.
- Understanding of digital identity, identity verification, reusable credentials, authentication, trust services or digital wallets.
- Spanish language proficiency.
- Knowledge of online platform, financial services, payments, AI governance, biometrics, cybersecurity, privacy or online safety regulation.
- Experience with government consultations, industry associations, standards organisations or policy forums.
