What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and legislative tracking on federal, state, and local regulations affecting public safety technology.
• Draft and review critical communications for customers, elected officials, and stakeholders ensuring legal accuracy and policy alignment.
• Partner cross-functionally with Legal, External Affairs, and Communications teams to align messaging with regulatory obligations.
• Analyze emerging legislative trends in privacy and public safety regulation to support compliance strategies proactively.
• Develop policy position materials to navigate regulation and mitigate business risk.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the USA, preferably near Atlanta or Boston hubs
• Demonstrated ability in precise legal research, legislative analysis, and regulatory tracking.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with legal, communications, and external affairs teams.
• Proven ability to review and refine high-stakes communications with attention to detail and policy sensitivity.
• Background in law or public policy with relevant experience in government, legal, or policy environments.
