What you will do

• Produce Tom Swarbrick on Drive, a live LBC programme airing from 4pm–6pm on weekdays and 4pm–7pm on Fridays.
• Manage the live show output and fast-moving rundown, responding quickly to breaking news.
• Develop engaging topics, original angles and audience questions with the presenter and wider team.
• Book high-impact guests, contributors and case studies to strengthen the programme.
• Ensure content meets editorial standards, media law requirements, Ofcom regulations and internal guidelines.
• Repurpose the strongest programme moments for LBC’s website, app and social media platforms.

Requirements

• At least three years of industry experience, including confidence working in a live radio gallery.
• Strong editorial judgement and the ability to identify stories, angles and questions that engage audiences.
• Experience booking relevant guests, contributors and case studies.
• Clear and confident communication when briefing presenters, working with contributors and pitching ideas.
• Awareness of digital and social content opportunities across radio programming.
• Strong knowledge of media law, Ofcom regulations and editorial guidelines, with the ability to apply them in real time.
