Duopoly Content Producer (Broadcast and Digital News)

Location: Full-time onsite at the hirify.global-designated worksite, 1800 Arch St., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

What you will do

• Produce, write, edit, and translate content in English and Spanish for broadcast, digital, and social platforms.
• Line-produce newscasts and content streams by building rundowns and managing execution from start to finish.
• Coordinate daily coverage with assignment desk staff, reporters, anchors, managers, and digital teams.
• Write scripts, headlines, and copy while adapting tone, accuracy, and cultural relevance for multilingual audiences.
• Monitor breaking news, update rundowns and scripts in real time, and contribute story ideas during editorial meetings.
• Edit video and incorporate graphics while maintaining journalistic standards for accuracy, fairness, and credibility.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience line-producing newscasts and editing content on a desktop editing system.
• Ability to write, edit, and produce accurate content under tight deadlines and make priority decisions while news is developing.
• Strong awareness of local and national news, including a deep understanding of the Philadelphia market.
• Willingness to join AFTRA if the position is covered by the collective bargaining agreement.
