What you will do
- Present live news content in the studio and on location for young audiences.
- Research, script, and deliver engaging news stories, explaining complex topics accessibly.
- Create and produce youth-focused content across broadcast, digital, television, and social media platforms.
- Generate and lead original journalism projects and contribute to wider News output.
- Edit and package content using Premiere Pro and Quantel while maintaining high editorial and technical standards.
Requirements
- Substantial journalism experience, ideally three or more years.
- Strong editorial judgement, storytelling, editing, and scripting skills.
- Dynamic presentation style and experience presenting to youth audiences.
- Good rapport with children and knowledge of their lives, interests, and news consumption habits.
- Experience producing youth content for multiple platforms, including television and social media.
- Ability to break youth-focused stories and present them across News outlets when required.
