Financial Advisor-MFDA/AMF

Location: On-site full-time in Gibsons, British Columbia, Canada; flexibility to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance, including evenings and weekends.

What you will do

• Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management and exceptional client service.
• Provide tailored financial advice across day-to-day banking, investments, lending, estate planning, home ownership, and business needs.
• Develop local-market sales plans, convert leads into new clients, and generate referrals.
• Build professional and community networks through local events, marketing, and outreach activities.
• Serve as a single point of contact while helping clients plan for current needs and future goals.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience providing financial advice, establishing client relationships, and achieving performance targets.
• Current accreditation and good standing in the Canadian Securities Course, Canadian Investments Funds Course, or Investment Funds in Canada Course, with eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• For Quebec licensing: current AMF accreditation and good standing, completion of CIFC or CSC, and Registered Retirement Consultant certification.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified location in Canada; a valid work or study permit may be required.
• Ability to work on-site full-time and adapt to banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends.
