Senior Manager, Content Marketing (B2C; myFICO.com) (Fintech)

Targeted base pay range: $105,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and execute content strategy aligned with business goals and consumer needs across the customer journey.
• Write, edit, and publish long-form articles, blog posts, whitepapers, landing pages, email copy, and social content focused on financial services.
• Source, manage, and review contract writers while maintaining editorial standards and brand voice.
• Apply SEO and AIO practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, internal linking, and structured data.
• Own the editorial calendar and collaborate with subject matter experts, compliance, design, PR, and communications teams.
• Track performance, identify content gaps, forecast channels, and drive experimentation through A/B testing and conversion strategies.

Requirements

• Experience creating consumer-facing B2C content, including meaningful experience in financial services such as banking, lending, fintech, insurance, or wealth management.
• Strong editorial background with the ability to write clearly, edit others’ work, and maintain an effective brand voice.
• Demonstrated SEO and AIO expertise, including keyword research and measurable ranking improvements.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console, plus content management systems.
• Experience using analytics to measure content effectiveness and optimize programs.
• Knowledge of financial-services compliance and regulatory considerations, including disclosures, fair-lending language, and FINRA/SEC communication standards; published financial-services content portfolio required.

Nice to have

• Experience developing and managing a network of contract writers.
• Experience with financial-services brands such as NerdWallet, Credit Karma, or Bankrate.
