Content Strategist (AI)

Location: Seattle, WA, United States; required to come into the office 3–5 days per week.

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.

What you will do

• Own the long-form content roadmap and editorial calendar for the blog and core website pages.
• Manage the content pipeline from ideation and briefing through drafting, editing, review, and publication.
• Conduct keyword research and content-gap analysis to identify organic traffic opportunities.
• Build topical authority through content clusters, internal linking, and SEO-informed content briefs.
• Structure content for search and AI answer engines using answer-first framing, FAQs, How-Tos, and schema markup.
• Track rankings, organic traffic, engagement, and AI citation visibility, translating performance data into content decisions with product, brand, demand generation, and technical web teams.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in content strategy, editorial management, or SEO content roles.
• Direct ownership of a blog or content program and a proven record of driving organic traffic through long-form content.
• Strong knowledge of keyword research, on-page optimization, content clustering, and internal linking.
• Excellent editorial judgment for improving clarity, structure, accuracy, and quality, including AI-assisted drafts.
• Working knowledge of AEO/GEO concepts, LLM citation patterns, and entity-based content strategy.
• Strong project management, communication, and SEO analytics skills using tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, or Semrush.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI writing tools in an editorial capacity.
• Familiarity with FAQ, HowTo, and Article schema markup.
