Technical Buyer (Aerospace Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage supplier order books and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to meet delivery deadlines.
• Plan and execute component procurement using an ERP system to interpret demand.
• Raise RFQs, evaluate quotations, place orders, and negotiate pricing, lead times, and contract terms.
• Provide delivery updates and maintain internal procurement communication tools.
• Improve supplier pricing and delivery performance while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Resolve invoice and goods-in discrepancies.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Demonstrated negotiation experience with measurable cost savings or value creation.
• Experience supporting complex programs or engineered products.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet additional security screening requirements if the role involves access to export-controlled information.
