Financial Advisor-CIRO-MFD/AMF (Financial Services)

Location: On-site full-time in Castlegar, BC, with flexibility to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.

What you will do

• Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management and exceptional client service.
• Provide tailored advice across day-to-day banking, investments, lending, estate planning, and broader financial planning.
• Develop local-market sales plans, convert leads, generate new opportunities, and increase client referrals.
• Attend local events and participate in marketing and outreach activities to strengthen community connections.
• Work banking centre hours, which may include evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience providing financial advice, establishing client relationships, and achieving performance targets.
• Current accreditation and good standing in the Canadian Securities Course, Canadian Investments Funds Course, or Investment Funds in Canada Course, with eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• For Quebec-based licensing, current AMF accreditation and good standing, completion of CIFC or CSC, and Registered Retirement Consultant certification are required.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified location; a valid work or study permit is required where applicable.
• Ability to work on-site full-time and travel to nearby banking centres as needed.
