Financial Advisor-MFDA/AMF (Financial Planning)

Location: On-site full-time in Yellowknife, NT, Canada; flexibility to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and at multiple nearby banking centres.

What you will do

• Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management and exceptional client service.
• Provide tailored advice across day-to-day banking, investments, lending, financial planning, and estate planning.
• Develop local-market sales plans, convert leads into new clients, and generate referrals.
• Use credit and investment solutions to deliver needs-based recommendations and strong client outcomes.
• Attend local events and participate in marketing and outreach activities to strengthen community connections.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience providing financial advice, establishing client relationships, and achieving performance targets.
• Current accreditation and good standing in the Canadian Securities Course, Canadian Investments Funds Course, or Investment Funds in Canada Course.
• Meet eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• For Quebec licensing: current AMF accreditation and good standing, completion of CIFC or CSC, and Registered Retirement Consultant certification.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• Ability to work flexible banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends.
