Senior AI Machine Learning Engineer (Generative AI)

Location: Krakow, Poland; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office for local candidates

What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade applications using large language models and foundation models.
• Develop evaluation methodologies and pipelines for open-ended AI systems, including AI-as-a-judge approaches.
• Apply prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and fine-tuning to financial use cases.
• Create and manage high-quality datasets for model training and fine-tuning.
• Build and deploy AI agents that automate complex financial workflows and interact with tools and systems.
• Optimize AI application latency and cost while collaborating with cross-functional teams on finance solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing and deploying applications with foundation models such as GPT, Claude, or Llama.
• Strong understanding of AI Engineering and practical experience deploying generative AI solutions at scale.
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, few-shot and zero-shot learning, defensive prompt design, RAG, and LLM fine-tuning.
• Experience building and evaluating AI agents and implementing evaluation pipelines for foundation models.
• Proficiency in Python or C# and experience with Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, LangGraph, or PyTorch.
• Ability to work in the Krakow hybrid office model with at least 3 office days per week for local candidates.

Nice to have

• Experience with AgenticOS patterns, agent orchestration, memory management, tool registries, and inter-agent communication.
• Knowledge of inference optimization, quantization, multimodal generative models, dataset engineering, and end-to-end generative AI systems.
• Experience with LLMOps, Model Composition techniques, responsible AI, guardrails, safety filters, and regulated financial applications.
