AI Engineer (LLMs, Agents)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work model with flexibility to travel abroad at least three times per year for client meetings, conferences, or team off-sites.

hirify.global's Network Analytics Team in Group Technology develops AI and machine learning solutions for the Deutsche Telekom Group.

What you will do

• Build and develop agentic AI and generative AI solutions.
• Integrate AI models into production systems and optimize them for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Prepare, explore, and analyze data using Python, including preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis.
• Work with on-premises Linux-based GPU platforms and cloud-based AI workloads, especially on Google Cloud Platform.
• Design and implement AI-driven decision-making and tool-using agents using large language models and agentic AI frameworks.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, IT teams, software engineers, and customers to define requirements, manage risks, report progress, and present results.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering or machine learning roles with a strong AI focus.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.
• Expert Python programming skills and strong software engineering practices, including clean code, code reviews, testing, version control, CI/CD, and production deployments.
• Experience with GCP, Linux-based GPU computing environments, AI/ML model development, deployment, and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, generative AI frameworks, and agentic AI frameworks such as ADK.
• Competence in SQL, ETL pipelines, distributed data processing, data visualization, and result interpretation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, and neural-network-based ML solutions.
• Familiarity with knowledge graphs, Neo4j, data modeling, ontologies, and schema design.
• German language skills.
