Lead Product Manager, Security

Location: United States; hiring available in eligible U.S. states and selected international locations, subject to local employment and work authorization requirements

Annual U.S. compensation: $133,121–$207,388, determined by skills, experience, and work location.

What you will do

• Shape and advance product security strategy, strengthening security practices and culture across teams and the broader community.
• Define and prioritize security and privacy engineering roadmaps with designers, data scientists, community managers, and other partners.
• Drive the design and delivery of technical features, controls, and interventions that protect users and reduce platform compromise risks.
• Lead major security initiatives from strategy through implementation and measurable outcomes.
• Build relationships with volunteer communities and connect community stakeholders with internal security and privacy teams.
• Monitor cybersecurity, privacy, vulnerability research, and AI-enabled security developments to inform priorities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience working on product-building teams, including at least 2 years in a security-focused role.
• Experience leading substantial security initiatives through delivery in a technical, engineering, or product leadership capacity.
• Professional experience using AI-powered tools for security analysis, code review, and software engineering.
• Technical fluency with command-line tools and the ability to learn new technical systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with executives, technical teams, and diverse communities.
• Experience influencing multiple teams and stakeholder groups, managing ambiguity, and balancing complex community needs.
