Product Management Lead, Private Sector (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role based in Waterloo, Ottawa, Toronto, Ontario, or California. Occasional in-person attendance is expected for employees within a comfortable travel distance of an office, typically weekly to monthly. Travel: 5–15%.

Salary: CAD 150,000–200,000 per year.

What you will do

• Own the product vision, long-term roadmap, strategy, and success metrics for a new enterprise DFIR and cybersecurity offering.
• Research enterprise DFIR markets, cybersecurity workflows, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends.
• Translate customer and market insights into differentiated, scalable product solutions.
• Engage customers and prospects through discovery sessions, workshops, virtual conversations, and onsite visits.
• Make trade-offs across scope, quality, timelines, and customer value while creating clarity in ambiguous problem spaces.
• Align engineering, UX, product management, go-to-market, customer success, support, and leadership stakeholders around measurable outcomes.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of product management experience, ideally with enterprise SaaS products.
• Experience managing cybersecurity products or familiarity with enterprise security operations and cybersecurity workflows.
• Ability to evaluate cloud-native architectures and trade-offs involving complexity, scalability, and customer value.
• Strong analytical, collaboration, communication, and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for requirements gathering, user story generation, specification writing, documentation, and ideation.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering is required for AI-driven product development workflows.

Nice to have

• Digital forensics industry experience and deeper exposure to cybersecurity products or enterprise security workflows.
• Experience with Pragmatic Marketing, Design Thinking, Jobs To Be Done, or equivalent methods.
• AI-driven product management workflow or tool experience.
• Experience with Agile development and tools such as Jira, Aha, and Amplitude.
