Financial Advisor CIRO-MFD

Location: Picton, Ontario, Canada; onsite full-time. The role may require work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance and flexibility for evenings and weekends.

What you will do

• Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management and exceptional client service.
• Provide tailored advice across day-to-day banking, investments, lending, estate planning, and retirement planning.
• Develop local-market sales plans, convert leads, prospect for new clients, and increase referrals.
• Participate in community events, marketing, and outreach activities to strengthen local brand awareness.
• Work flexible banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and support multiple nearby banking centres when required.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience providing financial advice, establishing client relationships, and achieving performance targets.
• Current accreditation and good standing in the Canadian Securities Course, Canadian Investments Funds Course, or Investment Funds in Canada Course.
• Meet eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• Be legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• Strong client engagement, networking, business development, financial planning, and relationship-building skills.

Nice to have

• For Quebec roles, AMF licensing, Registered Retirement Consultant accreditation, and completion of relevant CSI/ICB investment, taxation, legal, and ethical courses.
