What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain core DFM software modules using C/C++ for PCB manufacturing and geometry processing.
• Build and enhance algorithmic capabilities for manufacturability analysis, rule checking, compensation, and optimization.
• Address geometry-heavy problem domains including etch compensation, via/pad handling, and signal optimization.
• Improve the performance, stability, and quality of a large, long-lived production codebase.
• Collaborate with domain experts and product teams to define requirements and deliver production-ready features.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical design discussions, and the modernization of the engineering stack.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in C and/or C++.
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design for performance-sensitive systems.
• Proven experience developing or maintaining complex engineering software or geometry-intensive applications.
• Strong debugging skills and ability to isolate root causes in large codebases.
• Must be based in or able to work in Shenzhen, China.

Nice to have

• Experience with computational geometry, rule-based processing, or CAD/CAM/EDA systems.
• Background in PCB, DFM, CAM, or other industrial/engineering software domains.
• Familiarity with unit testing, regression analysis, and controlled release processes.
