TL;DR
Staff Product Manager (Fintech): Owns Nium’s European payments market, defining product activation, commercial propositions, and client relationships across the EU and UK with an accent on regulatory-driven product decisions and enterprise payments. Focus on translating PSD2, PSD3, EU instant payments, and FCA requirements into product priorities, driving commercial activation, and expanding ownership across account validation and pull payments.
Location: London, hybrid; 3 days per week in the office

What you will do
- Own ’s European market, including product activation, commercial outcomes, volume targets, and client activation milestones.
- Define which products to activate in each market and determine launch sequencing across Europe.
- Act as the product authority in enterprise conversations and support the commercial team on complex product questions.
- Translate PSD2, PSD3, the EU instant payments mandate, and FCA requirements into product decisions and launch plans.
- Build ’s European commercial proposition, including right-to-win positioning, ICP definition, and product-led pipeline growth.
- Expand product ownership into adjacent products such as account validation and pull payments, working with global product and engineering teams without direct authority.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in product management.
- Required experience in European payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of SEPA or UK Faster Payments is highly valuable.
- Relevant background at a PSP, neobank, or payments infrastructure company operating at scale.
- Ability to prioritise market segments, develop competitive right-to-win strategies, and contribute to substantive enterprise discussions.
- Ability to set direction and work through global product and engineering teams without direct line authority; serious use of AI to increase execution capacity.
