AI Product Owner

Location: London Office, hybrid working in the United Kingdom

What you will do

• Define, deliver and manage AI-enabled lending products across origination, underwriting and operational workflows.
• Own the product roadmap and full lifecycle from discovery and design through delivery, launch, adoption and live-product risk management.
• Lead a small cross-functional team including full-stack engineering and AI specialists.
• Prototype and experiment rapidly, including building working prototypes that can be hardened for production.
• Analyse data, create verified ground-truth datasets and assess the accuracy and performance of AI solutions.
• Lead stakeholder briefings, user training, feedback loops and governance approvals covering risk, security, cost, data and legal considerations.

Requirements

• Knowledge of commercial lending origination and underwriting processes, principles and systems.
• Experience delivering agentic and data-driven products into live use in a fast-moving or high-growth business.
• Hands-on familiarity with Python, SQL, data analytics tools, LLM tooling, prompt engineering and AI orchestration.
• Strong process design, implementation, automation, analytical and business skills.
• Understanding of privacy, safety, accuracy monitoring and responsible use of LLMs in production, ideally in a regulated environment.
• Experience working with or leading product and engineering teams, including line management, coaching and development.
