Senior Customer Engineer (AI) (Security, Networking, Zero Trust, Developer Platforms): Leading technical discovery, bespoke architecture design, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept delivery for enterprise customers with an accent on full-lifecycle technical advisory and commercial account growth. Focus on designing secure cloud architectures, translating platform capabilities into business outcomes for C-suite stakeholders, and automating RFP, sandbox, and telemetry workflows with AI agents.

What you will do
- Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, design bespoke architectures, and deliver product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts across Security, Networking, Zero Trust, and Developer Platforms.
- Maintain trusted technical relationships from onboarding through adoption, renewal, and account expansion.
- Align customer business goals with ’s product roadmap throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Carry a variable quota tied to new business acquisition, adoption, retention, and account growth.
- Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews and translate platform capabilities into return on investment for C-suite executives.
- Use AI agents and internal platforms to automate RFP and security questionnaire responses, sandbox provisioning, and basic telemetry monitoring.
Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
- Broad technical expertise in web security, networking, routing, DNS, DDoS mitigation, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
- Experience working in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment, with knowledge of SaaS metrics, business value translation, and enterprise sales cycles.
- Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to connect technical implementation details with C-suite business strategy.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with ’s developer platform and AI ecosystem, especially Workers AI and AI Gateway.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages for integration scripts, API connectors, and edge computing functions.
