Purchasing Representative (Amsterdam)

Location: On-site in Amsterdam, Netherlands; applicants must be based nearby and have a valid work permit in the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Source electronic components, supplies, and equipment while identifying vendors and negotiating favorable terms.
• Process purchase orders and requisitions, review claims and contracts, and maintain accurate ERP account and contact records.
• Track ordered and received goods, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with Sales to deliver identified products accurately and on time.
• Identify purchasing opportunities for short or end-of-life products based on confirmed customer demand.
• Review bills of materials for cost-saving opportunities and recommend actions to increase gross profit.
• Grow accounts in revenue, gross profit, and contact level while reporting progress and sharing market information with Sales and Product Management.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of electronic components and finished goods, preferably.
• Strong drive, ambition, motivation, and exemplary work ethic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Collaborative approach, integrity, and the ability to work effectively in a competitive environment.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
• Valid work permit in the Netherlands and ability to work on-site near Amsterdam.
