Production Planner (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Christchurch, UK; hybrid working with flexitime and a condensed work week where applicable.

What you will do

• Plan production to satisfy internal and external demand while meeting service levels and using available resources efficiently.
• Coordinate with other sites, dispatch, invoicing, customers, and internal departments to support timely delivery and accurate product requirements.
• Maintain demand, production, material, cell resource, operation, and inventory data in internal systems.
• Ensure production processes, records, traceability, quality, and health and safety requirements are followed.
• Support supply chain performance, operating budgets, and cost-effectiveness improvements.
• Identify, implement, and drive solutions that improve the manufacturing system.

Requirements

• Production planning and production control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrable knowledge of MRP and inventory control systems.
• Knowledge of account management, data entry, and detail-oriented record maintenance.
• Strong organization, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate across teams and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate Excel skills and strong general computer proficiency.
