Scrum Master (Agile)

Location: Toronto-81 Bay, 16th Floor, Toronto, ON, Canada. The proportion of on-site and remote work will be discussed during the interview. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day activities for complex technology projects and follow project control procedures and performance standards.
• Initiate projects, conduct feasibility studies, prepare business cases, and estimate work effort and duration.
• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement while promoting Agile and Scrum practices.
• Manage project reviews, status updates, progress reports, milestones, budgets, and delivery timelines.
• Integrate resources, manage stakeholder expectations, negotiate deliverables, and coordinate technology and business partners.
• Identify and mitigate schedule risks while balancing budget, time, and project risk.

Requirements

• At least two years of project management experience, including Agile methodology.
• Experience managing cross-portfolio projects in a matrix environment.
• Experience with both waterfall and Agile methodologies and knowledge of the Software Delivery Life Cycle.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong collaboration, communication, analytical thinking, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit is required where applicable.

• Experience in financial services or technology.
• PMP designation.
