Quality Engineer Lead / Data Testing (Python)

Location: In-office in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH

Base salary: $86,250–$172,500 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead the development and review of test strategies and plans aligned with project goals, scope, tools, and testing approaches.
• Guide junior quality engineers and provide support on testing needs.
• Identify resource and test-environment gaps and escalate recurring or unresolved issues.
• Monitor testing risks and defects, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with ECO standards.
• Prepare test summary reports and documentation for technology leaders, governance and risk teams, and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate across teams and participate in Quality Engineer community-of-practice meetings to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Deep experience testing Python-based, data-intensive systems.
• Expertise in Python for test automation and data validation.
• Experience with manual and automated testing, data accuracy, data integrity, and compliance validation.
• Knowledge of API programming, application testing, test case development, software quality assurance, and the software development life cycle.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, technical troubleshooting, documentation, coaching, and process management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree and typically 3+ years of relevant industry experience, or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
