QA Chapter Lead

Location: Columbus, OH; hybrid

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 USD per year, plus a 5% variable annual bonus and potential RSU grant.

What you will do

• Define QA standards, methodologies, test strategies, quality gates, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and support manual and automation QA engineers; plan resources, schedules, reviews, and skill development.
• Own test plans, test cases, test data strategy, defect management, coverage, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.
• Drive automation strategy and framework selection using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and TestRail.
• Integrate quality activities with CI/CD, monitor test metrics, and ensure post-release smoke-test coverage.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, DevOps, and QA enablement teams on requirements, risks, releases, and next-generation tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA and/or SDET roles, with strong test automation and platform development experience.
• At least one year of leadership experience leading QA teams.
• Expertise in testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks, including Selenium, Playwright, TestRail, CI/CD integration, and API testing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Proactive approach to improving quality, efficiency, and developer experience.

Nice to have

• Experience leading test framework migrations.
• Familiarity with OWASP guidelines and security testing tools.
• Affiliate and Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification by PXA.
