Cloud Architect (AWS)

What you will do

• Design and evaluate AWS migration strategies for legacy and VM-based workloads.
• Create architecture diagrams, migration plans, and reference implementations.
• Assess complexity, cost, scalability, performance, and compliance tradeoffs.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate AWS solutions with CI/CD and deployment pipelines.
• Guide and mentor teams implementing AWS infrastructure.
• Engage with customers and leadership to validate designs, communicate risks, and document cloud best practices.

Requirements

• Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly is required.
• 12 years of experience in cloud architecture, migration, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree required, or four additional years of experience in place of the degree.
• Experience with AWS architecture, services, security, and compliance frameworks, particularly C2S/C2E or HCI/WandS.
• Knowledge of networking, identity management, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, ECS, CI/CD, and monitoring tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including experience building trust as an external technical expert.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and implementing Azure or other commercial cloud architectures.
• Experience with multi-cloud strategy, hybrid cloud environments, or cross-cloud cost modeling.
• Prior experience working in CNO.
