TL;DR
Cloud Architect (GCP) (GCP, Terraform): Designing and optimizing secure, scalable, and reliable Google Cloud infrastructure with an accent on cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and operational excellence. Focus on managing GCP environments across development, QA, and production, designing cloud networks and service topologies, and guiding engineering teams on automation, security, and reliability.
Location: San Salvador, El Salvador

What you will do
- Design and implement best practices for cloud architecture, security, governance, scalability, and reliability.
- Write and maintain Terraform configurations for GCP infrastructure as code.
- Design and maintain infrastructure, network, topology, and service diagrams across development, QA, and production environments.
- Support and optimize CI/CD processes, deployment workflows, and containerized applications.
- Guide engineering teams on cloud implementation strategies, DevOps practices, automation, and operational excellence.
- Own assigned cloud environments and ensure their stability, security, performance, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and Google Container Registry.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, containerized environments, Linux administration, networking troubleshooting, and cloud perimeter security.
- Experience working with and guiding Cloud Engineering teams.
- Advanced English proficiency.

- Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect and/or Associate Cloud Engineer.
