Cloud Architect (AWS/Azure)

What you will do

• Design and evolve scalable, highly available, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures across AWS and Azure, with approximately 70% focus on AWS.
• Architect cloud-native, serverless, containerized, event-driven, multi-region, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Build automation and Infrastructure as Code using PowerShell, Bash, Python, Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, AWS services, and Azure services.
• Improve CI/CD, deployment, environment validation, modernization, performance, rightsizing, and cloud cost optimization practices.
• Design cloud networking, private connectivity, VPN, DNS, routing, load balancing, and AWS-to-Azure connectivity solutions.
• Partner with Development, DevOps, SRE, Database, and Cloud Operations teams on architecture reviews, migrations, troubleshooting, proofs of concept, and technical standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in the technology industry, including 4+ years in a Cloud Architect, Solution Architect, or equivalent role.
• Strong hands-on experience designing production-grade architectures in AWS and enterprise solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, ECR, Lambda, Route 53, Step Functions, S3, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, IAM, KMS, and EventBridge.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Machines, VM Scale Sets, VNets, NSGs, Application Gateway, Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, Functions, Azure Monitor, Key Vault, and Private Endpoints.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, Windows/Linux infrastructure, databases, containers, serverless architecture, APIs, distributed systems, troubleshooting, and cross-functional communication.
