Financial Advisor CIRO-ID

Location: On-site full-time in Stoney Creek-Barton and Millen, Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada. The role may require working at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance, including evenings and weekends.

What you will do

• Build and manage a dedicated client portfolio as part of the Imperial Service Team.
• Provide tailored advice across day-to-day banking, investments, lending, estate planning, home ownership, and business needs.
• Develop local-market sales plans, cultivate networks, convert leads, and generate referrals.
• Attend local events and participate in marketing and community outreach activities.
• Serve as a single point of contact and deliver consistent, relationship-focused client service.

Requirements

• Postsecondary degree or diploma and/or four years of relevant experience.
• Current accreditation and good standing for Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID) licensing.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified Canadian location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
• Strong relationship-building, networking, business development, financial advising, and client service skills.
• Flexibility to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel between nearby banking centres.
• Goal-oriented approach with a commitment to trust, teamwork, accountability, and client-first service.

Nice to have

• For Quebec roles: current AMF licensing, CIFC or CSC completion, and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC) designation.
• CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774).
• CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).
