hirify.global is developing Terran R, a reusable launch vehicle and rocket manufacturing system for delivering customer payloads to orbit.

What you will do

• Integrate vehicle design data into full simulations of customer missions.
• Develop and use software tools to optimize launch and orbital trajectories.
• Lead interdisciplinary design trade analyses for vehicle design, mission trajectories, and ConOps.
• Define and maintain high-level vehicle and trajectory design requirements.
• Implement, maintain, and improve simulation capabilities and analysis utilities across multiple programming languages.
• Establish cross-functional collaboration across Vehicle Engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in engineering, computer science, physics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant full-time experience solving complex problems from first principles.
• Direct experience with rocketry, space systems, or similarly complex hardware systems.
• Strong proficiency in high-level programming languages such as Python, Julia, or MATLAB.
• Experience setting up complex simulation processes and taking projects through end-to-end delivery with substantial independence.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, intense startup environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with launch vehicle trajectory design and optimization.
• Experience leading complex multidisciplinary engineering analysis projects.
• Prior startup experience.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and dependency management.
