Engineering Manager - People & Growth (F/M)

Location: Based in Nice (Sophia Antipolis), France, with a hybrid setup requiring 2 days per week in the office. Occasional travel to Paris, Lyon, and other company offices is expected.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team of 10 engineers.
• Co-own the technical and product vision for the Learning domain and translate product strategy into a technical roadmap.
• Guide technical decisions and ensure platform security, scalability, observability, and operational stability.
• Complete the integration of Learning into the hirify.global product and execute the learning-system replatforming.
• Drive contributions to AI tooling and agent development while delivering reliable, scalable learning capabilities.
• Improve engineering processes, delivery predictability, testing coverage, monitoring, and cross-team collaboration.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience across diverse technical stacks.
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Experience leading SaaS product development, web platforms, or mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, platforms, developer experience, and scalability.
• Strong people-management, coaching, communication, and influencing skills.
• Product-oriented, customer-aware, curious about AI-powered solutions, and comfortable operating in a post-merger environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale SaaS deployments and multi-team or platform organizations.
• Experience in business transformations, pivot strategies, or services replatforming.
