Software Engineer, Enablement (AI)

Location: Remote (United States)

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 base salary annually

What you will do

• Build and maintain the AI pairing pipeline, including tooling, integrations, and workflows for AI-assisted engineering.
• Design and implement automated ticket generation that converts product signals, operational alerts, and customer feedback into sprint-ready work items.
• Build developer tooling supporting the engineering lifecycle from local development through deployment and observability.
• Create technical guardrails, review workflows, and quality gates for the non-engineer contribution program.
• Instrument enablement tools and processes, measure their impact, and continuously improve them.
• Partner with engineers to identify pain points and evaluate emerging AI developer tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with strong fundamentals in backend systems, APIs, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, including prompt engineering, tool use, and evaluation of AI-generated output.
• Experience building internal developer tools, automation pipelines, or platform infrastructure.
• Strong programming skills; Go and/or Python experience is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with AI developer tools such as Claude, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fast-moving function with evolving scope and priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating project management and engineering tools such as Jira, GitHub, or Linear.
