Sr CAD Administrator, Engineering Applications (Siemens NX)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; headquarters-based role

Salary: $122,000–$182,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Provide expert application support, troubleshooting, and technical administration for Siemens Teamcenter, NX, NX-CAM, and Simcenter3D.
• Support engineering teams across fluids systems, structures, avionics, propulsion, test and launch, and ground support equipment.
• Design, test, and deploy NX configurations, templates, customizations, and preferences.
• Manage Teamcenter workflows for engineering drawing releases and Engineering Change Orders.
• Administer the Standard Parts Library, create Part Families, and support mechanical routing applications and the Cadenas PARTsolutions library.
• Deliver user training, Lunch and Learn sessions, documentation, and best-practice guidance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Experience administering and configuring NX in a production Teamcenter/NX-managed environment.
• Knowledge of Teamcenter workflows, NX installation and visualization, and Active Workspace Client integration.
• Experience with NX Part Families and Standard Parts Library management.
• Working knowledge of design principles and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Siemens Simcenter 3D, Simcenter STAR-CCM, ANSYS, HEEDS, FEMAP with NX NASTRAN, or other CAE tools.
• BA/BS degree, with equivalent experience considered.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Creo, Autodesk, or AutoCAD Inventor.
• Programming experience with Python, C++, KF, Visual Basic, or NX Open.
