What you will do
- Create high-quality 2D animations for slot and social casino features.
- Animate slot symbols, UI elements, pop-ups, win screens, rewards, jackpots, feature activations, transitions, and celebration moments.
- Bring static 2D artwork to life while preserving its visual quality and style.
- Set up, implement, test, review, and polish animations directly in Unity and on mobile devices.
- Refine timing, readability, responsiveness, and overall animation feel.
- Collaborate with the Art Director, UI Artists, Technical Artist, Game Designers, and Developers, and suggest visual improvements that enhance player experience.
Requirements
- Senior-level portfolio demonstrating strong 2D game animation and excellent visual polish.
- Strong practical Unity experience, including animation implementation in real production projects.
- Strong experience with 2D game animation, ideally in slots, social casino, casino, or polished mobile games.
- Excellent understanding of timing, rhythm, weight, impact, easing, anticipation, and secondary motion.
- Strong knowledge of Unity animation workflows, animation states, transitions, prefabs, and UI animation setup.
- Ability to take animation from source assets through Unity implementation and final in-game polish independently.
Nice to have
- Previous experience with slot games and slot animation conventions.
- Experience with Spine or similar 2D animation tools and Unity integration.
- Basic knowledge of Unity shaders, particles, or lightweight VFX.
- Understanding of animation optimization for mobile games.
