What you will do
- Create 2D animations, motion graphics, animated content, and game imagery based on game mechanics, storyboards, and briefs.
- Produce mock-ups, animatics, test renders, characters, objects, environments, symbols, logos, and promotional videos.
- Develop visual concepts in different styles and fine-tune animation work for target audiences and project requirements.
- Collaborate with artists and development engineers, managing the flow and optimization of assets between teams.
- Apply rigging, particle effects, and other animation techniques to create polished game content.
- Meet production deadlines while following intellectual property and copyright guidelines.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in game animation development and production, supported by a portfolio.
- Thorough knowledge of animation principles and experience with Adobe After Effects, plugins, Maxon/Red Giant, and Spine.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Firefly or the Adobe Photoshop AI assistant, and game and multimedia technologies.
- Ability to express concepts through animatics, drawings, and sketches, and to bring characters to life.
- Ability to optimize assets for HTML5 and online games using WebP, Texture Packer, and similar tools or algorithms.
- Comfort working in an English-language environment, with technical aptitude, rigor, and willingness to learn new software.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with 3D tools, Unity, Unreal, or Adobe Illustrator.
- Professional experience in the casino gaming industry.
- Experience using AI in casino gaming.
