Principal 2D Animator (iGaming)

What you will do

• Own animation delivery from concept through implementation across studios and projects.
• Bridge Art and Tech by resolving dependencies and bottlenecks affecting animation implementation.
• Create complex animations for symbols, backgrounds, characters, UI elements, and pop-up banners.
• Develop mobile VFX and particle-system effects while applying advanced optimization techniques.
• Set studio-wide quality standards and improve animation strategy, workflows, and pipeline efficiency.
• Mentor animators and establish best practices across cartoon, realistic, and stylized animation.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency with Spine.
• Strong professional English for collaboration across departments and studios.
• 6+ years of experience in the games industry with a record of high-level individual contribution.
• Advanced knowledge of animation principles, mobile optimization, technical rigs, and complex problem-solving.
• Strong ability to analyze workflows, identify risks, and independently drive improvements.
• An outstanding portfolio featuring exceptional game animations and technical rigs.

Nice to have

• Experience with additional animation or VFX tools.
• Ability to draw.
• Previous lead or senior-level experience.
• Gaming background and passion for making and playing video games.
