TL;DR

Designer, Assoc (3D CAD/Mechanical Design): Developing, modifying, and documenting products, systems, and components with an accent on 2D drawings, 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering documentation. Focus on applying GD&T and drafting standards, supporting prototypes and design verification, and maintaining accurate engineering records.

Location: China-Suzhou (Williams)

What you will do

Create and revise detailed 2D drawings, 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering documentation.
Perform dimensional calculations and support tolerance studies.
Develop structures, mechanical components, electrical packaging, tooling, fixtures, and integrated systems.
Collaborate with engineers and senior designers on design concepts and technical solutions.
Participate in design reviews, prototype development, testing, and design verification.
Maintain engineering records and follow established design assurance procedures.

Requirements

Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D design software.
Understanding of GD&T requirements and drafting standards.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to read and write in English.
Good communication skills.
