Project Manager - GA & HVDC (HVDC)

Location: Hybrid (Remote/Office), Manchester, United Kingdom; professionals mainly in the Manchester area are preferred, with other UK locations considered as projects are distributed across the country.

What you will do

• Manage the delivery of offshore AC and DC grid access connections.
• Ensure projects meet schedule, safety, cost, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate design, construction, installation, and commissioning with cross-functional teams.
• Lead risk and opportunity reviews to improve project performance and profitability.
• Manage customer and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present monthly progress reports to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience managing category C construction projects in the transmission and distribution industry.
• Project management accreditation and a degree in a related discipline.
• Demonstrated successful project delivery and experience managing teams of up to 10 staff members.
• Extensive knowledge of high-voltage substations and practical experience with project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental performance.
