Project Manager - Hire (Trane)

Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire, United Kingdom. Field-based role with work conducted on-site at customer locations and national travel required. Travel to other countries may be required.

What you will do

• Procure equipment and subcontractor services for assigned projects.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers, sales teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Attend site visits, provide technical advice, and prepare installation project costings and quotes.
• Develop project plans, confirm project scope and timelines, and troubleshoot technical engineering issues.
• Coordinate equipment, parts, resources, engineers, and subcontractors to meet project deadlines.
• Manage industrial cooling system installations and commissioning, including budgets, contract compliance, design quality, and site health and safety.

Requirements

• Intermediate-level project management experience with commercial experience.
• Project Engineer background is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing industry is advantageous.
• Strong communication and people skills, with the ability to explain complex technical activities to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
• Confirmed right to work in the United Kingdom and a valid UK driver's licence are required.
