Software Engineer (C#)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, and maintain software for classified mission-critical systems.
• Translate technical and mission requirements into reliable, maintainable software solutions.
• Participate in architecture, technical planning, design discussions, code reviews, and implementation decisions.
• Troubleshoot software defects, integration issues, performance problems, and operational failures.
• Build unit tests, integration tests, and automated software validation capabilities.
• Collaborate with developers, systems engineers, cybersecurity and infrastructure teams, testers, and mission stakeholders throughout Agile delivery.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of professional software development or software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with at least one object-oriented language: C#, Java, or C++.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, software fundamentals, source control, configuration management, and code review.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, debugging, maintaining, and documenting production software.
• US citizenship is required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with an adjudicated CI Polygraph and a customer-approved certification such as Security+, SSCP, CISSP, or CASP are required before starting.

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple languages among C#, Java, and C++.
• Database-driven application development with SQL and user-facing application development with React.
• Agile development using Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, deployment pipelines, software architecture, performance optimization, or application security.
• Experience with classified systems, national security customers, technical leadership, mentoring, or direct customer collaboration.
